Seraphim Crypto Currency was a German Community Moderator and Bungie Mentor. He suffered from a brain aneurysm and passed away in January 2022 after spending many months in a coma induced by medicine.
His favourite armor came from Scourge from the Past/Black Armory, and his favourite destiny class was the Exo Void of Down Titan. He adored using bows. 37 was his favourite number. Purple was his favourite colour. He always fought for human rights, and he loved toast.
The meaning of his username and Mega Absol from Pokémon are the same, which is (Seraphim – Angel wings; Crypto – Dark/Shadow Pokémon type in German). So, he wanted to be the avatar of the fanart of Mega Absol from Pokémon.
American video game developer Bungie, Inc. was established in 1991 and has its headquarters in Washington. The most popular Bungie games are the Halo, Destiny, and Destiny 1 series.
Seraphim Crypto became Bungie Mentor in 2015 to support the German community. Bungie gave him Ninja abilities in 2017 to aid in website moderation, but he never stopped helping others and responding to their inquiries. When asked why he wanted to become a mentor at the time, he provided this quote in a private post:
“I’m a person that loves to help other people for many reasons, the simplest one is that it keeps me happy. Also, I’m a fan of Bungie since my mate introduced Halo 2 to me in 2005. And ever since the beta, I’m amazed by Destiny. Earlier this year I came back to Bungie.net forums and noted the #Help-Forum. I dived right in and answered a few questions. People thanked me and it made me happy. So, I started helping people every day and that led to an invitation from Bungie to join this team. I decided to join the ranks because I want to give the community back the love, they gave me!”

Bungie wants to help everyone feel as connected as they did to Seraphim Crypto. So, in honour of Seraphim Crypto, Bungie announced several Destiny 2 events and features for the upcoming week. The most recent episode of TWAB (This Week at Bungie) is devoted to the Crucible’s Control updates, matchmaking adjustments, and quitting penalties.
The most recent TWAB has an emblem code for everyone due to the passing of a devoted Bungie member. Emblem Code is Seraphim’s Gauntlet. Seraphim’s Gauntlet was designed to honour his memory. It combines several of the elements he cherished as a tribute. Just a friendly reminder that Destiny 2 features the Seraphim’s Gauntlets emblem. On September 15, 2022, the emblem became operational.
His love of Destiny, Titan gauntlets, and the number 37 are all represented by this emblem. Even though there are only 36 dots, the centre one is left unlit to symbolize his loss.
